Sydney St. Patrick’s Day Organisation – Press Release
This year’s St. Patrick’s Day Committee is determined to make the 2018 Sydney celebration the best that Sydney has seen to-date. The committee set a very high standard in selecting the perfect location for 2018 and we are excited to announce that the chosen venue is The Entertainment Quarter at Moore Park.
After many months of researching potential locations, we have covered the length and breath of what Sydney has to offer, from parks and stadiums to convention centres and halls. We are confident that this venue will guarantee an event in 2018 regardless of weather conditions and above all it will meet the expectations of the community.
The event will be held on Sunday 18th March with preparations underway to organise a family friendly day packed with children’s activities, a parade, live music and a variety of food and drink options. Event details will be released over the coming months so to keep up-to-date with the latest news follow us on Facebook and Instagram or visit our new website: www.sydneystpatricksday.com.au.
Fundraising throughout the year is essential to ensure the celebration continues to be a free community day out. This year sees the return of the very popular Christmas Ball which provides a great opportunity to catch-up with friends and family or to have a work night out. All funds raised will go towards the March 2018 event.
The Ball is taking place at the 5* Shangri-La Hotel on Saturday 2nd December. Tickets are $180 which includes a three course festive feast accompanied by a five hour drinks package. Live entertainment on the night will be provided by Mark Oats, Cara K. and band.
We have a host of prizes to be won on the night including return flights from Ireland to Australia with $500 spending money. Contact email@example.com to book your tickets today.
